THE JOKER

NJ, nicknamed "The Joker" by his American teammates who couldn't pronounce his last name, is a phenomenon in the truest sense of the word. A phenomenon on the court because there have been few Centers like him in history and because this year he is a serious candidate for the MVP award, a phenomenon off the court for his style, for his attitude as a minor league player, for never taking himself seriously, for being a big kid catapulted onto the NBA stage, for giving the impression of having nothing to do with that world and then, data in hand, he dominates that world with his brain, his talent, his golden hands.
